GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind) based in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor offshore wind assets, support commissioning and service activities, and collaborate with site and engineering teams to ensure safe, reliable operation throughout the turbine lifecycle.

The role requires hands-on wind energy experience, strong SCADA and electrical schematic skills, and a proactive mindset. Willingness to relocate to Barcelona and EU eligibility are essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA systems and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication.
• Willingness to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays
