Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind) based near Barcelona, Spain. You will support safe, efficient operation of offshore wind assets through remote diagnostics, data analysis, and collaboration with site teams and engineering experts.

The role covers commissioning and service phases, with shifts and occasional on-call duties. Strong communication, problem solving, and willingness to relocate to Barcelona are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Fluent English in spoken and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
