Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for its Remote Operations Center in Barcelona, supporting offshore wind assets. You will monitor turbines, diagnose issues remotely, and guide commissioning and service activities to ensure safe, reliable operation.

You'll collaborate with field teams and engineering specialists, analyze operational data, and drive improvements in processes and performance. Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent in wind energy.
• Hands-on wind turbine experience in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Support remote diagnostics and troubleshooting for commissioning and service.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues to restore performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and trends.
• Support reporting of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimization.
• Attend rotating weekday shifts with occasional on-call weekends/holidays.
