Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for its Remote Operations Center in wind energy, based in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor offshore wind assets, perform remote diagnostics, and collaborate with site teams to ensure continuous, safe operation throughout the asset lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience in the wind energy sector

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays
