Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead to support offshore wind assets from a remote operations center in Barcelona. You will monitor performance, troubleshoot remotely, and collaborate with site teams to ensure safe, efficient operations throughout turbine lifecycles.

Ideal candidates have engineering degrees, hands-on wind turbine experience, and strong analytical communication skills, plus willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona within the EU.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Fluent English; willingness to relocate to Barcelona; EU work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Provide remote diagnostics and troubleshooting to support commissioning and service activities.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings; contribute to process improvement.
• Participate in rotating shift schedules and on-call rotations.
