Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Wind Remote Operations Center in Barcelona. You will monitor turbine performance, perform remote diagnostics, and lead service and commissioning support from a centralized operations hub.

The role requires hands-on wind turbine experience, ability to read electrical schematics, strong analytical skills, and clear technical communication. Travel up to 20% and EU work eligibility are required; relocation to Barcelona may be necessary.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support.
Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
