Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind) in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor offshore wind turbines, analyze alarms, and coordinate remote diagnostics to keep assets operating safely and efficiently.

You’ll collaborate with site teams and engineering experts during commissioning and service phases, supporting continuous improvement and timely resolution of issues while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind-energy experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine or similar electromechanical systems experience in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Analytical, proactive, and clear technical communication under pressure.
• Availability to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona; EU work eligibility; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Support commissioning and service via remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and trends.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and optimization.
• Support grid outages with safety and compliance.
