Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead to support the safe and efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a remote operations center in Barcelona. You will collaborate with site teams and engineering experts to detect, analyze, and resolve issues, ensuring turbines perform reliably throughout their lifecycle.

The role requires a degree in engineering, hands-on wind turbine experience, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine experience in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA systems and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Remote diagnostics and troubleshooting for commissioning and service.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data for faults and improvements.
• Support reporting of technical findings.
• Contribute to process and operational optimization.
• Support grid outages with safety and compliance.
• Work rotating weekday shifts with weekend/on-call coverage.
