Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead to oversee the remote operations center for offshore wind assets from Barcelona. You will monitor performance, diagnose issues, and support commissioning and service activities to ensure turbine reliability.

You will collaborate with site teams and engineering experts, analyze data for faults, and drive improvements while maintaining safety and compliance. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or electro-mechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot effectively.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and trends.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with on-call rotations.
