GE Vernova ROC Technical Lead – Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona is seeking a seasoned engineer to oversee safe, efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a remote hub. You will collaborate with site teams and engineering experts to diagnose issues and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires hands-on wind turbine experience, ability to read electrical schematics, and familiarity with SCADA.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems experience in operations.
Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
Strong analytical and communication skills with calm, structured approach.
Willingness to relocate to Barcelona and travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvements.
Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
Contribute to process improvement and operational optimization.
Support grid outages with safety and compliance focus.
Work rotating weekday shifts with on-call weekends/public holidays.
