Job summary

GE Vernova's ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center in Barcelona leads remote monitoring and troubleshooting of offshore wind assets, collaborating with site teams and engineers to ensure safe, reliable operations.

You will analyze data, respond to alarms, and guide commissioning and service activities, while supporting ongoing optimization and compliance. Fluency in English and EU work eligibility required; relocation to Barcelona is expected if not already based nearby.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Provide remote diagnostics and troubleshooting for commissioning and service.
• Collaborate with field teams to resolve issues and restore performance.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and trends.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimization.
• Assist with grid outage support when required, ensuring safety.
