Job summary

GE Vernova in Barcelona, Spain is seeking a ROC Technical Lead to support the safe and efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a remote operations center. You will monitor performance, analyze data, and guide commissioning and service activities to ensure turbines perform reliably throughout their lifecycle.

You collaborate with site teams and engineering experts, resolve complex issues, and contribute to continuous improvement while adhering to safety and compliance in rotating weekday

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience in the wind energy sector.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support situations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays.
