Job summary

GE Vernova in Barcelona is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center (Wind) to monitor offshore assets, analyze faults, and drive reliable operations. You will work with site teams and engineers to detect issues and ensure turbine performance across the lifecycle.

You will enable remote diagnostics, support commissioning and service activities, and contribute to safety, process improvement, and reporting of technical findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent.
• Hands-on wind turbine experience in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Fluent English, willingness to relocate to Barcelona, EU work eligibility.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Provide remote diagnostics and troubleshooting for commissioning and service.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends and improvements.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages with safety and compliance.
• Work on rotating weekday shifts with on-call weekends/holidays.
