Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Service Specialist to support the Hugo robotic system and DS1 across EMEA. You will explain complex technical issues to HCPs, SUS and FSEs, working remotely with occasional international travel.

Strong engineering background and robotics experience are required, plus fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian. The role offers a competitive salary across Europe with a short-term incentive (MIP) and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 2+ years relevant experience, or a medical degree with technical skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) is required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control within a large capital equipment environment.
• Highly organized with ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.
• Experience with software troubleshooting and process analysis for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive escalation to resolve issues and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
