Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support the Hugo robotic system and DS1 across EMEA. The role demands strong technical communication with HCP, SUS and FSE, plus the ability to work from 8:00–16:30 CET and on-call coverage.

Location-flexible within Europe, with travel as needed. The ideal candidate holds a biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering degree, fluent in Portuguese, English and Italian, and has robotics or motion-control

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering or a medical degree with technical skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment.
• Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE; act as a technical liaison between stakeholders and the operating unit.
• Drive the escalation process to resolve customer issues; initiate field service support when needed.
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment; own continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
