Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a full-time remote Technical Service Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support the Hugo robotic-assisted system and DS1 platform across Europe. You will troubleshoot with HCPs, SUS and FSE, and coordinate escalation to resolve issues.

Ideal candidates hold a biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering degree with robotics experience, are fluent in Portuguese, English and Italian, and enjoy remote, international collaboration with occasional on-site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering, with min 4 years relevant experience, or advanced degree with 2+ years.
• Medical degree with technical skills and experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive escalation to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities with significant judgement and ownership of improvements.
• Ensure documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
• Maintain regular hours 8:00-16:30 CET; on-call 7AM-7PM with rotating coverage.
