Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Service Specialist for the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery system and the DS1 platform. The role supports Health Care Professionals, Start-up specialists and Field Service Engineers across EMEA with strong analytical and problem-solving skills within an operating room environment.

The position requires a biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering background or medical degree with technical skills, and fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in (biomedical/electrical/mechanical) engineering required, or medical degree with technical skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) is required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive escalation and coordinate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure documentation and system entries are complete and up-to-date.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
