Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Service Specialist for the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery system and DS1 platform across EMEA. The role requires strong technical communication with healthcare professionals and field engineers, and involves remote support with occasional onsite deployments.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree with robotics experience and fluency in Portuguese, English, and Italian.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in (biomedical/electrical/mechanical) engineering with minimum 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with minimum 2 years relevant experience, or a medical degree with technical skills.
Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) is required.
Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment environment.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
Drive escalation process to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
Ensure documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
