Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a full-time remote Technical Service Specialist to support the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery system and DS1 AI-powered platform across EMEA. You will explain complex technical issues to health care professionals, SUS, and FSE, and act as a liaison between stakeholders and the operating unit.

The role requires a biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering degree, 4+ years in robotics or capital equipment, and fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or masters degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering (or medical degree) with relevant experience.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE as liaison between stakeholders and operating unit.
• Drive escalation to resolve customer issues; initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other TS specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities with ownership of continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation/system entries are complete and up to date.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite domestically and internationally scheduled.
• Regular hours 8:00-16:30 CET; on-call 7:00-19:00 rotating.
