Job summary

Medtronic in Europe seeks a full-time remote Technical Service Specialist for the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery system and the DS1 AI-powered surgical video management platform. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a medical degree with technical skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Serve as a technical liaison and drive escalation to resolve customer issues.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation and system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training availability domestically and internationally.
