Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Service Specialist to support the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery system and DS1 platform across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You will explain technical issues to healthcare professionals, SUS, and FSEs, acting as a liaison and problem-solver.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree with 4+ years of robotics experience and fluency in English, Portuguese and Italian. The role requires strong organizational skills and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering, or medical degree with technical skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for Hugo system and DS1 to HCP/SUS/FSE.
• Drive escalation and coordinate field service support when needed.
• Collaborate with other service specialists to troubleshoot complex requests.
• Own continuous improvement projects and ensure documentation is complete.
• Focus on remote support with on-site training/domestic and international travel.
