Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 platform. You will explain complex technical issues to healthcare professionals, startups, and field engineers while delivering high-quality remote support.

The role requires strong engineering foundations, multilingual communication in Portuguese, English and Italian, and experience in operating room environments. Occasional domestic and international onsite training is possible.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with relevant experience.
Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
Highly organized and able to multi-task and prioritize multiple assignments.
Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE; act as technical liaison.
Drive escalation to resolve issues; initiate field service when needed.
Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
Perform technical activities with judgment; own continuous improvement projects.
Ensure documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
Focus on remote support with occasional onsite support/training (domestic and international).
Maintain regular hours 8:00–16:30 CET; on-call 7AM–7PM (rotating).
