Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support the Hugo RAS system and DS1 analytics platform across EMEA. You will provide remote expert assistance to healthcare professionals, startups, and field engineers, translating complex technical issues into clear solutions.

Ideal candidates have a biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering background, 4+ years in robotics or high-end equipment, and fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with relevant experience.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
• Highly organized with ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.
• Experience with analysing technical issues and processes for continuous improvement.
• Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE; act as technical liaison between stakeholders and operating unit.
• Drive escalation processes to resolve customer issues and trigger field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other service specialists to troubleshoot complex requests.
• Carry out technical activities requiring judgment and ownership of improvements projects.
• Ensure all documentation and system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
