Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support Hugo robotic-assisted surgery and DS1 in a global context. The role involves high-level technical liaison work, remote troubleshooting, and occasional onsite activity across international sites.

Candidates should have engineering credentials with robotics experience and fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian. Regular hours are 8:00–16:30 CET with on-call rotations, and a competitive benefits package

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience
Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian at C1/C2
Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment
Highly organized with ability to multi-task and prioritize
Experience analyzing technical issues for continuous improvement
Experience with software troubleshooting

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE
Drive escalation process to resolve customer issues, initiating required field service support
Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests
Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own continuous improvement projects
Ensure all documentation/system entries are fully complete promptly
Focus on remote support, with occasional onsite training availability (domestically and international)
Regular working hours 8:00 - 16:30 CET. On-call 7AM-7PM (rotates between colleagues)
