Job summary

Medtronic seeks a remote Technical Service Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support Hugo robotic system and DS1 in EMEA. You will explain complex technical issues to healthcare professionals, SUS and FSEs, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and OR experience.

Role involves remote support with occasional onsite training across domestic and international locations, in a highly collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering (or medical degree with technical skills)
Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2)
Experience with robotics or motion control in capital equipment environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to explain complex issues
Experience with software troubleshooting

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for Hugo robotic system and DS1 to healthcare professionals and field engineers
Lead escalation process and coordinate field service support as needed
Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests
Carry out technical activities requiring judgment and ownership of improvement projects
Ensure documentation and system entries are complete and up-to-date
Focus on remote support with occasional onsite support/training internationally
Work hours 8:00-16:30 CET; on-call 7 AM-7 PM with rotating schedule
