Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics. The role focuses on remote support for the Hugo system and DS1 within the EMEA, with some onsite availability internationally.

Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian is required, along with a strong engineering background. The position offers a competitive salary across several European markets and includes participation in the Medtronic Incentive Plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with relevant experience.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
• Organized, flexible, able to multi-task and prioritize assignments.
• Experience with analyzing technical issues and software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE as a technical liaison.
• Drive escalation to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other service specialists to troubleshoot complex requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation/system entries are completed promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
• Regular hours 8:00-16:30 CET; on-call 7AM-7PM, rotation among colleagues.
