Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support the Hugo robotic system and DS1 across EMEA. The role requires strong medical tech background and fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian, with on-call availability and occasional domestic and international onsite work.

In this full-time position, you will advise Health Care Professionals, Start-up specialists, and Field Service Engineers while driving issue resolution and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering or medical degree with technical skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) is required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE and act as a liaison between stakeholders and operating unit.
• Drive escalation processes to resolve customer issues and initiate field service support when needed.
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation and system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training availability (domestically and internationally).
• Adhere to regular hours 8:00-16:30 CET with on-call 7AM-7PM rotating between colleagues.
