Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an entry level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to provide remote technical support and incident resolution for clients.

You will monitor service delivery, use knowledge articles, diagnose issues, and escalate where needed, coordinating with client IT environments and vendors.

This remote role exposes you to Cisco, Juniper, Aruba and Riverbed technologies, with opportunities to grow within a global technology services company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computing.
• Associate level certifications in Networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA, etc.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the support process and ensures requests for support are handled per procedures.
• Uses service assurance software and tools to diagnose problems, collects performance statistics and creates reports.
• Identifies and resolves problems following agreed procedures.
• Carries out agreed maintenance tasks.
• Monitors service delivery against SLAs and maintains records of information.
• Analyses service records to identify actions to improve service levels.
• Prioritizes and diagnoses incidents and escalates unresolved issues.
• Documents and closes resolved incidents per procedures.
• Cooperates with stakeholders including client environments, vendors and carriers to expedite diagnosis.
