Job summary

Powernet is seeking an Entry-Level Help Desk Technician to be the first line of defense for our technical support operations. You’ll handle incoming calls, log tickets, and resolve routine issues, ensuring clients have a smooth technology experience.

You’ll image PCs, set up workstations, manage Active Directory permissions, assist with deployments, and provide remote or on-site support, all while maintaining excellent customer service and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Experience supporting Windows, AD, Group Policy, Office 365, and Google Workspace.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• End-User Support & Day-to-Day Troubleshooting: answer calls, log tickets, respond to requests promptly.
• Workstation Setup & Deployment: image PCs, configure desktops/laptops, assist with deployments.
• Alert Monitoring & Systems Hygiene: monitor alerts, document solutions, escalate complex incidents.
