Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist in Surgical Robotics to support the Hugo robotic system and DS1 across EMEA. You will communicate complex technical issues to healthcare professionals, startups, and field service engineers, serving as a liaison and driving issue escalation.

The role requires a biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering background with 4+ years of relevant experience, and fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive escalation processes and initiate field service support when needed.
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and ownership of improvement projects.
• Ensure documentation and system entries are complete and up to date.
