Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to lead accounting operations from anywhere in Spain. This fully remote leadership role oversees monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, internal controls, and regulatory compliance to support growth.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in accounting/finance, expertise in Spanish GAAP and IFRS, experience with SAP/Oracle and Excel, and fluency in Spanish and English.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in accounting/finance with a controller or senior role.
• Experience with Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
• Proficient in SAP/Oracle and Excel.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Bachelor's/Master's in Accounting/Finance; CPA/ACCA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, and payroll.
• Ensure timely financial statements under Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
• Develop policies to strengthen internal controls and efficiency.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Mentor accounting team and coordinate external audits.
• Maintain tax compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Provide strategic financial analysis to senior management.
• Implement and manage financial systems and software.
• Drive process improvements across finance function.
