Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an entry-level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to provide professional remote technical support to clients. You will identify and resolve technical incidents to ensure zero missed SLA conditions and will work across cultures in a remote environment.

The role involves using service assurance tools, maintaining configuration records, and coordinating with vendors to expedite problem resolution, with opportunities to learn vendor technologies and remote console

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
Associate level certifications in different Networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA etc.
Entry level knowledge of networking technologies, such as routing, switching, Wireless, SDI distribution, core and access layers.

Responsibilities

Maintains the support process and ensures requests for support are handled according to procedures.
Uses service assurance software and tools to investigate and diagnose problems and generate reports.
Identifies and resolves problems following defined procedures; performs maintenance tasks.
Monitors service delivery against SLAs and maintains records of information.
Escalates unresolved incidents and follows up until resolution.
