Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Service Specialist to support the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery system and DS1 across the EMEA region. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to explain complex technical issues to healthcare professionals, startup specialists, and field service engineers.

The position offers a global, remote work environment with international travel as needed and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering or related medical field.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in capital equipment environments.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive escalation and coordinate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Maintain thorough documentation and drive continuous improvement.
• Occasional on-site support and training (domestic and international).
• Work remotely with standard hours and rotating on-call coverage.
