Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support Hugo and DS1 platforms across Europe. The role requires fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian, plus strong engineering and robotics experience.

You will work remotely with occasional domestic and international onsite activities, and participate in continuous improvement projects. The position offers a competitive salary with a flexible benefits package and eligibility for the Medtronic Incentive

Qualifications

Degree in engineering with minimum 4 years relevant experience, or advanced degree with 2 years.
Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
Drive the escalation process to resolve customer issues, including initiating required field service support.
Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
Perform technical activities requiring considerable judgment and have ownership of continuous improvement projects.
Responsible to ensure all documentation/system entries are fully complete promptly.
Focus on remote support, with occasional onsite support / training availability (domestically and international).
Regular working hours 8:00 - 16:30 CET; On-call 7AM-7PM (rotating).
