Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics across the EMEA region. You will support the Hugo robotic system and DS1 platform, explain complex technical issues to health care professionals, start-up specialists, and field engineers, and coordinate remote and occasional on-site assistance.

The role requires advanced engineering degrees, 4+ years of relevant experience or 2+ years with advanced degrees, and fluency in Portuguese, English, and Italian.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s in biomedical, electrical, or mechanical engineering, or medical degree with tech skills.
• Fluent Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in capital equipment environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive escalation to resolve issues and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Own continuous improvement projects and ensure documentation is complete.
