Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Regional Lead of Customs & Trade Compliance Operations in Madrid to shape and drive compliant, high-performing customs operations across Europe. You will translate strategy into action, guide an international community and collaborate with senior stakeholders to enable trade compliance as a business lever.

Requirements include a Master’s degree or equivalent, 10+ years in customs and trade compliance, and proven leadership in matrix environments.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent plus senior-level experience in customs & trade compliance.
• Over 10 years in customs and trade compliance within a complex international organisation.
• Proven ability to lead regional operations, multiple teams and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Shape and implement regional customs and trade compliance operations strategy.
• Coordinate and monitor customs operations across the region for compliance and performance.
• Establish standard processes, KPIs and governance for transparency and improvement.
• Serve as regional escalation point for non-compliance and drive resolutions.
• Identify risks, opportunities and best practices to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
• Lead and connect regional customs operations community across functions and networks.
• Build trusted relationships with senior leaders, customers and authorities.
