Straumann Group in Madrid, Spain, is seeking a Global Transportation Manager to build and lead a new global transportation function. You will define the transportation strategy, establish the Logistics Control Tower, and drive visibility, cost efficiency, and resilience across the international network.

You will partner with regional teams and IT, SAP/TMS, and analytics to deliver scalable transportation solutions, governance, and continuous improvement across multiple geographies.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in transportation, logistics, distribution, or supply chain roles with increasing leadership responsibility; more than 10 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading transportation organizations in a regional or global environment.
• Strong experience managing international transportation networks, logistics service providers, and carrier performance across geographies.
• Experience leading transportation transformation, digitalization, and automation initiatives.
• Hands-on knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS), SAP, analytics and reporting tools, and digital transportation solutions.
• Strong project/program management, stakeholder management, and change management skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Build and lead the new global transportation function, taking ownership of the transportation strategy, governance, standards, and operating principles.
• Define the target operating model and develop transportation roadmaps aligned with end-to-end Supply Chain and GLD strategy.
• Establish governance and KPI review routines while monitoring freight cost, service quality, and business priorities.
• Act as the subject matter expert for intercompany/primary transportation, network performance, service resilience, and cost transparency.
• Lead the design, build, and stabilization of the Logistics Control Tower (LCT) with operating routines and playbooks.
• Partner with IT, SAP/TMS, Data, and Analytics for dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Develop carrier risk management and contingency plans for lanes and regulated goods.
• Drive transformation, digitalization, and automation within transportation networks.
