Job summary

Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay is seeking a Purchasing Trainee to support the purchasing team in achieving property goals and maintaining efficient procurement processes in line with hotel standards.

You will help order supplies, monitor inventory levels, research vendors, and ensure timely delivery of goods, while reconciling purchase orders and supporting negotiations in collaboration with storekeeping and finance teams.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Hospitality & Hotel Management, Business Management or related degree.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Eligible to work in the EU and based in Ibiza during the internship.

About The Role

Your responsibilities will include assisting in the ordering of supplies, monitoring inventory levels, conducting vendor research, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods.

About The Role

The Purchasing Trainee will assist and support the purchasing team in achieving property goals, maintaining efficient and effective purchasing processes that align with hotel standards. You will ensure that all procurement procedures are adhered to and assist in maintaining proper inventory controls over hotel supplies. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the ordering of supplies, monitoring inventory levels, conducting vendor research, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods.

You will help with reconciling purchase orders, supporting negotiations, and maintaining relationships with suppliers, always aiming to achieve the best value for the hotel. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the storekeeping and finance teams, assisting in monthly stock audits, updating inventory records, and supporting the overall efficiency of the procurement process. You will be part of a dynamic team, fostering strong relationships with various departments to contribute to the overall purchasing performance and help achieve cost savings and efficiency goals.
