Job summary

Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay is seeking a Finance Trainee to support the finance team with month-end closings, reporting and invoicing while upholding internal controls across hotel operations.

The program lasts 6 or 12 months with a starting window of February–March 2027. Benefits include free accommodation in a shared room, free meals during shifts and an internship allowance of 500€ gross per month; EU eligibility and Ibiza residency are required.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Hospitality & Hotel Management or Business studies (Diploma, University studies or Master).
• Fluency in English and Spanish (C1 level).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Eligible to work in the EU and based in Ibiza during the internship.
• Previous experience in hospitality, accounting or finance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Finance team with monthly closings, journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare reports and maintain accounting records and documentation.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Storekeeping teams on invoicing and documentation.
• Support smooth flow of financial information across departments.

About The Role

The Finance Trainee will assist and support the Finance team in achieving the property’s goals, maintaining adequate internal controls over all areas of the hotel operations. You will ensure the timely completion of all reports and that applicable finance policies and procedures are maintained.

About The Role

The Finance Trainee will assist and support the Finance team in achieving the property’s goals, maintaining adequate internal controls over all areas of the hotel operations. You will ensure the timely completion of all reports and that applicable finance policies and procedures are maintained. Your responsibilities will include preparing the monthly closing balance sheets, journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with financial policies and procedures, generating financial reports, maintaining the accuracy of accounting books and records, preparing monthly reports, and performing general and administrative finance tasks. The main duties and responsibilities will focus on accounting and invoicing activities. You will collaborate with the Purchasing and Storekeeping departments, assisting them in their daily and monthly operations, as well as supporting invoice processing, documentation and reconciliation activities. You will also help the Finance team develop and maintain strong relationships with the different departments, supporting the smooth and accurate flow of financial information and contributing to the achievement of the property’s financial goals.
