You will guide teams, ensure compliance with PM standards, and support PMs in IT governance. Strong coaching and international collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years in a PMO role with governance, monitoring and reporting.
• 3+ years IT project experience in Agile environments.
• Advanced PMO certifications (PM², PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, PMBOK).
• Strong Scrum knowledge and ability to coach teams.

We are looking for a Project Manager working for a team within a European institute.

This is a fully remote opportunity for a professional with a strong background in IT Project Management, PMO governance, Agile methodologies, and Microsoft Power Platform tools.

The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring project maturity, ensuring compliance with project management standards, supporting Project Managers, and maintaining reporting and portfolio management tools. The role combines project governance expertise with hands-on experience in Power BI, Power Automate, Jira, and SharePoint.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess project maturity against established project management methodologies and recommend improvements to ensure compliance.
• Maintain and enhance PMO tools supporting project planning, status reporting, risk management, and portfolio-level monitoring, using Power BI, Power Automate, Jira, and SharePoint.
• Guide project teams on the implementation of project management methodologies and review project management deliverables.
• Support Project Managers in complying with IT governance policies and procedures.
• Contribute to the review of project estimates, timelines, costs, and resource requirements.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of project plans, monitor progress, and deliver accurate and timely reports.
• Monitor project costs, schedules, and resources, identifying deviations and reviewing corrective actions.
• Define and manage change control procedures, ensuring that proposed project changes are properly assessed and agreed upon with relevant stakeholders.
• Provide coaching and guidance to project teams on project management practices and Agile ways of working.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a PMO role, supporting project governance, monitoring, and reporting activities.
• At least 3 years of experience managing or supporting IT projects.
• At least 3 years of experience working in an Agile software development environment.
• Advanced project management certification, such as PM², PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, PMBOK, or equivalent.
• Strong theoretical knowledge of Scrum, including roles, ceremonies, and artefacts.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Automate and Power Query.
• At least 3 years of experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• At least 3 years of experience using Jira for project tracking and management.
• At least 3 years of experience administering Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
• Good knowledge of project management methodologies, including PM², PRINCE2, PMBOK, and Scrum.
• Experience as a coach or trainer, supporting teams in adopting methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel.
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, structured, and professional documentation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings and deliver presentations to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in an international, multicultural environment, demonstrating initiative, collaboration, and a strong understanding of different business and technical perspectives.
• Eligibility to obtain EU-27 Security Clearance, as the role involves access to sensitive information and secure environments.
