Job summary

UpcoMinds seeks a Project Manager with a strong PMO governance background to join a European institute’s IT team. This fully remote role focuses on monitoring project maturity, reporting, and portfolio management while employing Power BI, Power Automate, Jira, and SharePoint.

You will guide teams, ensure compliance with PM standards, and support PMs in IT governance. Strong coaching and international collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a PMO role with governance, monitoring and reporting.
• 3+ years IT project experience in Agile environments.
• Advanced PMO certifications (PM², PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, PMBOK).
• Strong Scrum knowledge and ability to coach teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess project maturity against established methodologies and recommend improvements.
• Maintain PMO tools for planning, status, risk, and portfolio monitoring (Power BI, Power Automate, Jira, SharePoint).
• Guide project teams on methodologies and review deliverables.
• Support IT governance policies and procedures for projects.
• Review estimates, timelines, costs and resources; prepare and maintain reports.
• Monitor progress, costs, and resources; identify deviations and corrective actions.
• Define and manage change control procedures with stakeholders.
• Provide coaching on PM practices and Agile ways of working.
