Job summary

Roche seeks a Field Application Specialist in Spain to support Roche Sequencing Solutions across hospitals, research, and private labs. You will be the primary contact for application inquiries from field staff and customers, providing expert installation support, trainings, and on-site troubleshooting.

You will join a highly skilled service team, collaborate with Roche functions, and help roll out the SBX platform while maintaining high quality standards and scientific rigor.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in research or a service institution with NGS knowledge.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
• Fluent Spanish and very good English for international collaboration.
• Willingness to travel across Europe and work remotely as needed.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in natural sciences; PhD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support for Roche Sequencing Products and Assays.
• Installations and customer training for Roche Sequencing Systems with the Service team.
• Troubleshoot onsite and resolve inquiries and issues.
• Co-create and deliver customer trainings.
• Assist local sales and marketing with expertise.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for quality.
• Monitor service processes and product quality; participate in events.
