Formación

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Knowledge of electrical equipment from the railways industry would be an advantage.
  • 2-3 years of experience in similar positions, working with electrical equipment.
  • Experience working with an ERP.
  • Knowledge of FMEA on the process.
  • Knowledge in the Kaizen methodology.

  • Optimize manufacturability of products and productivity.
  • Coordinate the introduction of technical changes effectively.
  • Develop, review, and present improved products and working methods.
  • Ensure delivery of all components in time, quality, and costs.
  • Conduct investigations into processes and component failure.

Yourfuture role

Could you be the full‑time Methods Engineer in Trápaga, Bilbao? Take on a new challenge and apply your methods expertise in a new cutting‑edge field. You’ll work alongside young and proactive teammates.

You’ll optimize manufacturability of products, throughput times and productivity. Day‑to‑day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Production, Quality and Suppliers), ensure the manufacturing layout and technical documentation and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of the introduction of technical changes, is effectively coordinated and that build of first vehicle is successfully executed, but also lead the production and testing of the building of the first vehicle of each type, proving processes and times and support Engineering in capturing Manufacturing needs – drives Design for Manufacturing and standardization.

We’ll look to you for:
  • BetheinterconnectionbetweenthefunctionsofEngineering,Production,QualityandtheSuppliers
  • Create,document, andmaintainuserfriendlyManufacturingdocumentation(WorkInstructions, etc.)forProductionStaff.
  • Create documents and maintain user friendly Testing documentation for Testing Staff.
  • Develop, review and present improve new products and working methods compliant to standards
  • Ensurethedeliveryofallcomponentsin time,qualityandcosts
  • Carryoutinvestigationsandreportsintoprocessesandcomponentfailure,includingcorrespondencewithEngineeringandQualitydepartmentstoresolvetechnicalenquiresin atimelymanner
