Job summary

The Social Hub in Barcelona is seeking a Meeting & Events Coordinator with a commercial mindset to drive revenue and coordinate bookings for our meeting and event spaces. You will sell meeting rooms, hotel rooms, and restaurant experiences, while delivering an outstanding guest experience that encourages repeat visits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant work experience in hospitality or events.
• Fluent in Spanish and English with excellent communication skills.
• Living in the Barcelona area or willing to relocate.
• High level of organization and attention to detail.
• Sales driven with ability to upsell and cross-sell.

Responsibilities

• Handle inquiries and bookings for Commercial Partnerships via phone, third parties and email.
• Develop customer accounts to drive business into The Social Hub Barcelona across revenue streams.
• Work within current business strategies and identify potential opportunities.
• From admin to hosting, perform all related tasks and maintain accurate correspondence.
• Prepare meeting & events sheets with final details for the banqueting department.
• Host meetings with the banqueting team and stakeholders.
• Maintain an effective follow-up system to secure repeat business and provide after-sales service.
• Assist Finance with invoicing and payments to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Compile statistics and reporting for cluster management and commercial teams.
• Support creation and rollout of the local commercial strategy.
