Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Market Development Specialist to expand the adoption of Insertable Cardiac Monitors across the Castilla-León, Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria, País Vasco, Navarra, and La Rioja regions. The role covers remote work with central coordination in Spain and occasional European travel.

You will partner with clinicians, KOLs, and regional teams to optimize patient pathways and demonstrate the clinical and economic value of ICMs in Syncope and Cryptogenic Stroke populations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales role within MedTech or pharmaceutical industry or related clinical background.
• Clinical environment or medical technology sales experience.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
• Experience in a large corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive market development by expanding use of Insertable Cardiac Monitors (ICMs) in existing clinics and new centers.
• Optimize patient pathways for Syncope and Cryptogenic Stroke, developing centers of excellence with healthcare providers.
• Build and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and stakeholders across the patient pathway.
• Engage with local sales teams to raise awareness of clinical indications and economic value through training and workshops.
• Collaborate with field service, marketing, reimbursement, and other units to develop materials and health economic information.
• Coordinate with Cardiac Rhythm Management Sales Teams and Technical Consultants to execute projects.
• Develop and execute an annual regional market development plan with defined strategies and KPIs.
• Capture clinical, market, and competitive insights for the Strategic Marketing Team and represent the business at meetings.
