DayOne Data Centers Limited in Madrid, Spain, is hiring an IT Support Engineer to ensure smooth operation of IT systems, provide timely end-user support, and maintain infrastructure reliability across the organization.

You will handle first- and second-level support, work with Windows environments, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and TCP/IP networks, and participate in on-call coverage and knowledge base development. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Formación

• Diploma or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer/Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Windows-based support or helpdesk environment.
• Hands-on experience with service desk operations and technical helpdesk support.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, ADSL, VPN).
• Experience supporting Windows desktop and server environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Provide first- and second-level technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Respond promptly to service desk requests and ensure effective resolution of all IT incidents.
• Support and troubleshoot issues for both on-site and remote users, including branch locations.
• Maintain and update IT inventory, including hardware, software, and system assets.
• Log, track, and close support tickets accurately, ensuring proper documentation and timely follow-up.
• Document resolutions, case studies, and standard operating procedures to enhance the organization’s knowledge base.
• Perform regular system health checks, equipment inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure all systems are compliant with security policies, including keeping antivirus and other security software up to date.
• Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and IT processes.
• Participate in after-hours on-call support when required.
• Carry out additional IT-related duties as assigned.
