Bloomberg On-Site Support Specialist in Madrid is responsible for hands-on installation, maintenance of servers, routers, switches, workstations, and ensuring reliable connectivity across client and office environments. You will operate in production settings, coordinate with Sales, Facilities and internal teams to deliver timely service.

The role requires strong networking knowledge, excellent customer service in Spanish and English, and flexibility to support maintenance windows and on-call

Formación

• Demonstrable experience in customer support, preferably in technical or on-site roles.
• Strong networking fundamentals: LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, subnetting and routing.
• Excellent customer service skills with client-facing experience in person and remotely.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and adapt to changing requirements.
• Fluent in Spanish and English with strong written and verbal communication.
• Valid driving license and right to work in Spain.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation with time off in lieu.

Responsabilidades

• Provide hands-on installation and servicing of servers, routers, switches and workstations.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and maintain production uptime.
• Support Windows and Mac environments across hardware, software, and network concerns.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely service delivery.
• Maintain accurate documentation within Bloomberg’s service management systems.
• Balance priorities in high-visibility environments.
