Job summary

Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona, a 5-star luxury property, seeks a Front Office Night Supervisor to oversee nightly Front Office operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and seamless night audits. You will lead the overnight Front Office team, handle guest requests, and maintain high service standards under the Night Manager's guidance.

Requirements include at least 2 years in a Front Office supervisory role, fluency in English, Spanish desirable, and the ability to work nights, weekends,

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Front Office supervisory position, preferably within a luxury hotel.
• Excellent command of English; Spanish is highly desirable. Additional languages will be considered an advantage.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Excellent knowledge of Front Office systems and night audit procedures.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lead and develop a team while maintaining high service standards.
• Highly responsible, reliable and detail-oriented.
• Excellent organizational and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all Front Office activities during the night shift.
• Ensure seamless guest arrivals, departures, and night audit processes.
• Support, coach and motivate the overnight Front Office team to deliver exceptional service.
• Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints effectively, ensuring prompt resolution and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor room status, occupancy levels, VIP arrivals, and special guest requirements.
• Ensure accurate posting of charges, billing verifications, and completion of all night audit procedures.
• Maintain communication with all operational departments to guarantee smooth overnight hotel operations.
• Prepare operational reports and handovers for the morning management team.
• Act as the senior point of contact for guests and colleagues during the night shift.
