Job summary

Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona, a luxury 5-star hotel on Barcelona's Paseo de Gracia, seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the Housekeeping Department and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. The role reports to the Assistant Executive Housekeeper / Executive Housekeeper.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory housekeeping role within a luxury hotel environment.
• Knowledge of Opera PMS and housekeeping management systems is preferred.
• Good command of English; Spanish is highly desirable. Additional languages are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure luxury standards.
• Coordinate with Front Office for timely room availability.
• Provide training and guidance to housekeeping colleagues to maintain service excellence.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety and hygiene regulations.
• Handle guest requests and concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Assist with inventory management, linen control, and supplies.
• Support the Executive Housekeeper in achieving departmental objectives.
