Nippon Gases IT Data Intern in Madrid participates in the European IT team, reporting to the IT Data Architect. The role supports the BonsAIData Platform, enabling scalable data onboarding, governance, and analytics across Europe.

Ideal for recent graduates with a passion for data, analytics, and AI, seeking hands-on experience in a multinational setting and exposure to cloud data tools like Databricks and Azure Data Factory.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Exposure to modern data platforms and cloud technologies, such as Databricks, Azure Data Factory, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with data tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI.
• Basic understanding of databases, data models, and data governance concepts is a plus.
• Organized, proactive, and eager to learn in an international environment.
• Strong interest in data, analytics, AI, and digital transformation.
• Fluent English (both written and spoken).
• Communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Support onboarding of new data sources into the BonsAIData Platform.
• Assist in data governance activities, including metadata management and data catalog maintenance.
• Help define and maintain data quality controls and business definitions for key datasets.
• Support creation of process documentation and guidelines for data ingestion and governance.
• Assist in incident investigation and resolution via ServiceNow for data quality, access, ingestion, and operations.
• Assist in operationalizing AI/ML use cases, including documentation and lifecycle management.

Job description

The IT Data Intern will be based in Madrid, European Headquarters, and will be part of the European IT team, reporting to the IT Data Architect.

Main Responsibilities

The selected intern will support the BonsAIData Platform, enabling the team to scale data onboarding, governance, andanalytics initiatives across Europe. Responsibilities include:

• Support the identification, documentation, and onboarding of new data sources into the platform.
• Assist in data governance activities, includingmetadata management, data catalog maintenance, and documentation of dataassets.
• Help define and maintain data quality controls,ownership information, and business definitions for key datasets.
• Support the creation of process documentation,diagrams, and guidelines for data ingestion and governance activities.
• Assist in the investigation and resolution ofincidents reported through ServiceNow, including data quality, platformaccess, data ingestion, and operational issues.
• Assist in the operationalization of AI andMachine Learning use cases, including documentation, monitoring, andlifecycle management activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor'sor Master's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, InformationSystems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or arelated field.
• Exposureto modern data platforms and cloud technologies, such as Databricks, AzureData Factory, or similar tools.
• Familiaritywith data tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI.
• Basicunderstanding of databases, data models, and data governance concepts is aplus.
• Organized,proactive, and eager to learn in an international environment.
• Stronginterest in data, analytics, artificial intelligence, and digitaltransformation.
• FluentEnglish (both written and spoken).
• Communication and collaborationabilities.

No prior professional experience required, although academic projects or internships in analytics or data-related roles will be valued.
